Ukrainian Armed Forces liberate 46 settlements in Kherson region
In the Kherson region, Ukrainian defenders have liberated 46 settlements from Russian occupation, but residents are still being urged to evacuate to safer regions until the region is fully returned to Ukrainian control
Interfax-Ukraine, with reference to the acting head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Dmytro Butrii, shared the statement.
"In Kherson Oblast, 46 settlements have already been deoccupied, most of them are in the north (of the region, - Ed.), which borders the Dnipropetrovsk region, and a little in the south, on the border with the Mykolaiv region," Butrii said.
In the de-occupied territory there are villages that have been destroyed by 90%, and now they still remain under constant shelling.
The Acting Head of the Kherson Oblast Regional Government emphasized that the situation in the region is critical and called on residents to evacuate to safer regions: "In order to protect yourself, I recommend evacuating to safer territories before the liberation of the region."
