Ukrainian Armed Forces hit 9 enemy control points - AFU General Staff

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the information, over the past day, Russian troops launched 1 airstrike, 5 missile strikes, and more than 40 MLRS attacks.

The units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled Russian attacks near 5 settlements of the Luhansk region and 11 of the Donetsk region.

Russian forces continue to suffer losses. Thus, in the town of Starobilsk, Luhansk region, about 50 heavily injured Russian servicemen have been taken recently to the military hospital equipped by the Russian military. In Horlivka, Donetsk region, due to the lack of blood donors, all employees of medical institutions were forced to donate blood in accordance with the schedule.

Over the past day, the aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched 5 strikes on Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment concentrations. And the missile and artillery men of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit 9 control points, 2 manpower concentrations and 2 other important enemy targets.

Shelling of Ukrainian regions 

On the northern and northeastern Ukrainian border, the situation remains without significant changes, the enemy maintains military presence along the state border, no signs of the formation of offensive groups of the enemy were detected. Russian troops shelled 4 settlements of the Sumy region and 8 of the Kharkiv region.

In Kupyansk and Lyman directions, Russian troops shelled more than 25 settlements.

In Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, Russian troops shelled the positions of Ukrainian troops near more than 20 settlements.

In the Vuhledar direction, Vuhledar, Velyka Novosilka and Vremivka of the Donetsk region came under fire.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian troops shelled more than 25 settlements.

In the Kherson direction, Russian troops continue shelling settlements along the right bank of the Dnipro river. Civilian infrastructure of the settlements of Respublikanets, Tiahynka, Zelenivka, Inzhenerne, Antonivka, Sadove and Veletenske of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson were damaged.
