Ukrainian Armed Forces hit 9 areas of Russian manpower concentration over day - General Staff

According to the information, over the past day, the occupying Russian forces conducted 2 missile and 12 air strikes, including the use of 2 Shahed-136 UAVs. These drones were shot down by our soldiers. The enemy also fired 68 times from multiple launch rocket systems. Civilians were injured. The threat level of missile attacks by the invaders remains high throughout Ukraine.

Shelling of Ukraine's regions

The operational situation on the Northern and Northeastern Ukrainian borders remains unchanged. The enemy is keeping its units near the state border of Ukraine, but no offensive groups have been detected. During the day, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery attacks at 3 settlements in Chernihiv region; 9 in Sumy region and 13 in Kharkiv region.

At the Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the enemy conducted offensive actions in the vicinity of 5 settlements in the Luhansk region, but did not succeed. It fired artillery shells near 9 settlements in Kharkiv region; 4 in Luhansk region and 3 in Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russians continue to advance. They do not stop storming the city of Bakhmut. Ukrainian defenders repelled the attacks in the area of 6 settlements. The enemy attacked 9 settlements of Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka and Vuhledar directions, the enemy continues to attack the positions of our troops. They carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of 7 settlements. They shelled the areas of 14 settlements in Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian troops are trying to create conditions for an offensive in some areas. Invaders conduct artillery shelling of the areas around 3 settlements in Donetsk region; 8 in Zaporizhzhia region; 3 in Dnipro region; and 5 in Kherson region and the city of Kherson itself.

"Once again, the evacuation of certain categories of citizens from the temporarily occupied Crimea is being recorded. Recently, servicemen of the Russian occupying forces stationed in Perevalne have been sending their families to Russia," the statement said.

The General Staff reported that the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 11 strikes on the areas of the Russian occupiers' concentration over the past day, and rocket and artillery men hit 9 areas of manpower concentration and an area of concentration of enemy weapons and military equipment, as well as 2 positions of anti-aircraft missile systems, an electronic warfare station and an ammunition depot.
