Ukrainian Armed Forces hit 6 areas of Russian manpower concentration - General Staff

This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

"Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the Russian forces in Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka settlements in the Luhansk region and Dilyivka, Krasnohorivka, Vodyane, Vesele, Marinka and Pobieda in the Donetsk region," the message reads.

On December 25, Ukrainian soldiers struck the Russian manpower concentration near two settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region. Russia's losses amounted to 100 servicemen dead and injured. Among them are 15 employees of the Russian Federal Security Service.

During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck the area of the Russian concentration.

At the same time, missile troops and artillery units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit 4 control points and 6 areas of the Russian manpower concentration.

Shelling of the Ukrainian regions:

On the border with Belarus and the northern Ukrainian border with Russia, the situation is without significant changes, Russia maintains a military presence along the state border and no signs of the offensive groups’ formation were detected.

Four settlements of the Sumy region and seven of the Kharkiv region were shelled.

In the Kupyansk and Lyman directions, Russian forces fired from tanks, cannon and missile artillery in five settlements of the Kharkiv region, five of the Luhansk region and four of the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions of the Donetsk region, Russian forces shelled more than 25 localities. Particularly, these are nine settlements of the Donetsk region.

In the Vuhledar direction of the Donetsk region, three settlements of the Donetsk region were affected.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, seven settlements were shelled with mortars and cannon artillery.

In the Kherson direction, the civilian infrastructure in five settlements of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson was damaged by the Russian shelling.
