Ukrainian Armed Forces hit 12 Russian artillery units at firing positions, 38 combat clashes take place in 3 frontline areas 

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces shared the information in a morning report on June 27.

Russian troops attack in Lyman, Bakhmut and Marinka directions. During the day, 38 combat clashes took place there.

On June 26, the Ukrainian Defense Forces aviation carried out 6 strikes on Russian personnel concentrations.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit 1 Russian control center, 12 artillery units at firing positions, 1 personnel concentration, 2 ammunition depots and 3 other important targets.

Russian troops launch 45 air strikes and 38 MLRS attacks on Ukraine in a day

On June 26, Russian occupying forces launched a missile and air strike on the territory of Ukraine. The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 2 Kalibr cruise missiles and 7 Shahed attack UAVs. In addition, Russian forces attacked from the north with four unmanned aerial vehicles of an unspecified type (most likely attack drones), all drones were destroyed.

Also, they launched 45 air strikes and 38 MLRS attacks during the day.

The threat of missile and air strikes throughout Ukraine remains high.

The situation in different regions of Ukraine

On the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed.

On the northeastern border with Russia, Russian troops launched mortar and artillery attacks, targeting a total of 26 settlements across Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful assault in the direction of Stelmakhivka, Luhansk region. They also shelled 7 settlements across the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops launched air strikes near Bilohorivka, Spirne, and 2 more settlements. Six settlements across Luhansk and Donetsk regions came under artillery fire.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful assault near Bohdanivka. They also launched air strikes near 3 settlements and shelled 7 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops launched an air strike on Avdiivka.

They shelled 5 settlements with artillery. 

In the Marinka direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful assault near Pervomaiske. 

They also launched air strikes near Avdiivka, Sieverne and shelled 11 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces recaptured the village of Rivnopil, Donetsk region. 

Russian troops launched air strikes on 3 settlements and shelled 14 others. 

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian forces’ priority is preventing the advance of Ukrainian troops.

Russian troops also launched air strikes on 2 settlements and shelled around 37 settlements across Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.

• As of June 26, the General Staff has reported that combat training and coordination of Russian armed forces units, intended for deployment to the conflict zones in Ukraine, are taking place at training grounds in Belarus.
