Ukrainian Armed Forces halt Russian army during offensive on Potiomkyne, Kherson region

Thus, the enemy fired at the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian infrastructure from tanks, barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of the settlements of Stepna Dolyna, Oleksandrivka, Posad-Pokrovske, Prybuzke, Novomykolayivka, Lyubomyrivka, Novohryhorivka, Kyselivka, Pervomaiske, Kobzartsi, Partyzanske, Chervona Dolyna, Shyroke, Bereznehuvate, Velyke Artakove, Andriyivka, Novoselivka, Shevchenkove, Olhyne, Myrolyubivka, Lyubymivka and Petrivka. 

They carried out air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Lozove, Sukhyi Stavok, Velyke Artakove, and Khreschenivka.

But they were stopped by the Defense Forces while conducting offensive operations in the direction of the village of Potiomkyne.

In the Black Sea and Azov Sea zones, the main enemy efforts are focused on conducting reconnaissance and blocking civilian navigation in the northwestern part of the Black Sea. Carriers of sea-based cruise missiles of the Kalibr type are ready for the use of high-precision weapons.

• As of the morning of September 2, units of the defense forces repelled the enemy's offensive in the direction of the settlements of Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna, Mayorsk, Opytne, Pervomaiske and Nevelske. Enemy assault operations were also repulsed in the directions of Avdiyivka and Krasnohorivka.
