Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy Russian air defense system, 5 artillery systems, 4 ammunition depots in Tavria direction
Ukrainian Defense Forces are operating in the Tavria direction, where they are actively engaging and neutralizing invading Russian forces
The commander of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops, Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, reported the information.
"In total, over the past day, the enemy attacked our positions 17 times and launched 783 attacks, inflicted 1 missile and 17 air strikes. The artillery units of the Tavria Defense Forces performed 1116 firing missions during the day," the statement said.
Russian troops lost 70 soldiers over the past day, 154 were wounded, and one more was captured.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 51 units of Russian military equipment. This includes 6 tanks, 11 armored combat vehicles, 5 artillery systems, one air defense system, 21 UAVs, 4 vehicles and 2 special vehicles.
Four ammunition depots were also destroyed.

Over September 23, 15 combat clashes took place. Russia attacked Ukraine with Shahed-136/131 “kamikaze” drones. The Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 14 of the 15 Shaheds.
