If these areas are broken through, then the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be able to spread their flanks. It will be possible for us to move towards Tokmak. Despite everything, the offensive actions of our troops have not been stopped," said Tymochko.

According to the serviceman, the events on the left bank of the Kherson region are one of the phases of the Ukrainian Armed Forces counter-offensive.

"The Tavria direction is the way out towards Crimea. The advance of our troops will allow us to take full fire control of the Crimean bridge in the future. If the Crimean bridge is destroyed, the enemy's logistics will be destroyed. Given the fact that Russian ships are insecure in the Black Sea, there may be a threat of a blockade of Crimea itself. And this situation will force the Russian occupiers to retreat," added Tymochko.
