Ukrainian Armed Forces are closing on on the northwestern administrative border of the Luhansk region, temporarily occupied by Russia.
Gaidai, the head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration reports in Telegram.
"The Armed Forces of Ukraine have already approached almost close to the northwestern administrative border of the Luhansk region. The Aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces has conducted 22 strikes. Three strongholds, 16 areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, as well as three anti-aircraft Russian missile systems have been hit in the last 24 hours. In addition, Ukrainian Air Defense units destroyed two Russian UAVs," Gaidai wrote.
He added that on October 3, Ukrainian missile troops and artillery hit two Russian control points, 12 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, two warehouses with ammunition, an air defense facility, as well as five other important Russian facilities.
According to Gaidai, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled Russian attacks in Vyimka, Mayorsk, Spirne, Ozeryanivka, Bakhmutske, Kam'yanka and Ternovi Pody settlements.
Russians shelled the settlements of Bilogorivka, Verkhnyokamianske, Serebryanka, Druzhelyubivka, Dvorichna, Rozdolivka, Yampil in the Kramatorsk direction with many types of weapons. And Soledar, Bakhmut, Mayorsk, Zaitseve, Yakovlivka, Bakhmutske, Vesele - in the Bakhmut direction.
