Ukrainian Armed Forces can receive Western tanks from partners - deputy Chernyev

Yehor Chernyev, head of the permanent delegation of Ukraine to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, reported this on his Facebook page.

He claims that one of the main tasks during the meetings with the delegations of NATO countries was to "remove the obstacles that have so far blocked the allocation of heavy armored vehicles to us." And now Ukraine has a chance to get Western-made tanks.

"I cannot yet go into the details of the closed circle that we had to break, but it seems that we managed to find a way out," writes Chernyev.

According to him, the delivery mechanism has been agreed with all delegations of the main suppliers of tanks, namely: the USA, Germany and Spain.

"After the delegations return home, the process should be launched. In the USA, a whole group of congressmen of both parties will take care of this," emphasizes the head of the permanent delegation of Ukraine in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
