Instead, the Russians are putting up a strong resistance. They are moving their units and troops and actively using reserves.
In the Bakhmut direction, the Armed Forces continue to conduct offensive operations north and south of the city of Bakhmut. Here, on the southern flank of the offensive, our military have partial success and are consolidating the gains made.
On July 13, the General Staff reported that Russia continues to wage a war of aggression and, despite significant losses, does not abandon its plans for the complete occupation of Ukraine. On July 12, heavy fighting continued in 5 directions. The Russians conducted 60 air strikes and carried out 64 attacks with multiple rocket launchers on the positions of the Defense Forces and localities. In return, the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit a control center and 16 artillery pieces at enemy firing positions.
