Ukrainian air strikes on Russian strongholds

"The situation in the operational zone in the Southern Bug direction is complex and tense, but it is being carefully monitored by the defense forces. The enemy is holding the defense lines, acting according to the tactics of counter-battery fighting, and continues to build up groups in the Kryvyi Rih direction," the message says.

During the combat day, units of the Ukraine's Armed Forces stopped three Russian attempts, in each case by the forces of a reinforced platoon - to carry out combat reconnaissance in the areas of Biloghirka and Trudolyubivka. Russia retreated with losses (more than a dozen dead and four units of armored vehicles).

In total, Russian forces struck six times. Missile strikes by three Tochka-U missiles on Maryansky and Granitny in the Kryvyi Rih area damaged transport infrastructure facilities, transformers and power lines. There are no casualties.

From the direction of Khreshchenivka to Novovorontsovka, Russian forces fired 15 rockets from the Grad installation. There are no losses, but there are destroyed buildings.

In the Dolgove area, Russian forces shot a civilian minibus with an anti-tank missile system. Three civilians were killed and five were injured. The victims were taken to the hospital, they were given assistance.

In addition, Russia fired 16 rockets from the Smerch system at the Zelenodol TPP, and simultaneously fired 40 shells from Grad. Two buildings were destroyed, without loss of life.

"Three times the enemy attacked our positions with helicopters in the Berislav and Kakhovka districts of the Kherson region, as well as in Bashtanka - in the Mykolaiv region. We did not suffer any losses. In response, our aircraft struck three enemy strongholds in the Oleksandrivka and Maksimivka districts," Ukrainian military officials say.

In total, 32 Russian soldiers, a Msta-S self-propelled howitzer, a TOR anti-aircraft missile system and four more pieces of armored vehicles were destroyed during the fighting day.

"In the Black Sea, the grouping of the enemy's fleet consists of 14 warships and boats. Their maneuvering place remains in missile-safe areas. Two missile carriers keep 16 Kalibrs on standby, as well as three VDCs on duty," added OC South.
