Commenting on the reports of Russian media and officials about the consequences of explosions in Engels, Ihnat said that it is necessary to wait for satellite images to have a clearer picture.

"To know to what extent this is true, we need to have satellite images that will tell us about it. We need to wait a few days for them to appear online. Such events in the past at this and other airfields have resulted in damage to aircraft," he said.
