Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman for the Air Force Command, said this during a telethon on January 2.
"We are expecting, we are preparing... We see that attacks have been going on for three days in a row. We don't know what they planned yet. We just need to get ready and keep the powder dry, the missiles loaded, people ready," he said.
Ihnat reminded that Russia does not abandon its intention to occupy Ukraine and when not achieving its goals - it attacks civilians, so the Armed Forces will prepare and repel all threats that come. The Air Force spokesman called to have faith in the defenders and support them.
- On December 31, explosions occurred in three districts of Kyiv. A number of other regions of Ukraine were also attacked.
- On the night of December 31 to January 1, Russian terrorists attacked the Kyiv region and Kyiv city with deadly drones. Air defense eliminated 32 enemy targets.
