Ukrainian air defense shoots down four Russian Kalibr missiles
On August 8, Ukrainian air defense shot down four Russian Kalibr missiles launched by Russian forces from the Black Sea.

Air Force Command of Ukrainian Armed Forces shared the news.
"Today, August 8, around 10:00 a.m., Russian occupiers fired four Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles from the Black Sea area from the south. All targets were shot down by the Air Force's anti-aircraft defense," the message reads.
Three missiles were shot down in central Ukraine, one more over Odesa region.
"One missile was destroyed in Odesa by the anti-aircraft missile unit of the "South" air command, the remaining three were eliminated in central Ukraine by the anti-aircraft missile units of the "Center" air command, the press service added.
