Russia launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine's territory on October 10

Today, the Russian Federation launched the most massive missile attack on the territory of Ukraine. For this, modern cruise missiles and Iranian kamikaze drones were involved. Russian missiles damaged 11 of Ukraine's important infrastructure facilities in 8 regions and in the capital. These damages are now being promptly repaired. The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his address during the missile attack, said that the Russian  enemy now has two targets — the energy infrastructure of Ukraine and the civilian population. However, I think we have withstood this blow. First of all, thanks to the resilience of Ukrainians and the effective work of the air defense of Ukraine. Our anti-aircraft defenses performed very well today. By the way, one of the powerful English-language publications wrote that even NATO countries could not stop such a powerful missile strike.

The missile attack on Ukraine on February 24 and October 10 are very similar

Yurii Ihnat, the spokesperson for Ukraine's Air Force Command, notes that the missile attacks on February 24 and October 10 are very similar in nature to the actions of the invading Russian forces. In particular, as on February 24, Russia launched several waves of massive missile attacks on the territory of Ukraine. The only difference is that the last time Russia engaged Iranian kamikaze drones for an attack against Ukraine.

Russia attacked Ukraine simultaneously with cruise missiles and kamikaze drones

Yurii Ihnat, the spokesperson for Ukraine's Air Force Command, also noted that our air defense system worked very well today. Because according to the latest information, we were able to destroy 56 missiles. According to him, available forces and means were used to destroy high-tech and modern Russian missiles. Including fighter aircraft. However, according to Yurii Ihnat, the tactics of the Russian forces should be noted. They tried to distract our air defense as much as possible, attacking Ukraine simultaneously with missiles and kamikaze drones.

Russian missiles violated the airspace of Moldova

Yurii Ihnat has confidence that the violation of Moldova's airspace was not accidental. According to him, the Russian forces do not forget about the territory of Transnistria and want to check the reaction of Moldova and Romania to such bold actions. In his opinion, one of the possible plans of the Russian forces to launch missiles through the territory of Moldova was to hide them from our air defense systems. However, the improvement of Ukraine's centralized air defense system consists in the fact that Ukraine can see the flight of missiles over the territory of neighboring states.
