On October 9, Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down an invading Russian forces' aircraft, probably a Su-25, in the Mykolaiv region and a Shahed-136 drone that was attempting to attack Odesa

This was reported by the Air Command South's Public Relations Service.

"On October 9, around 11:30 a.m, the Russian enemy tried to attack Odesa with a kamikaze drone of the Shahed-136 type. The UAV was destroyed over the sea by the forces and means of anti-aircraft defense of the Air Command South," the message says.

At 11:00 a.m. in the Mykolaiv region, Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down a Russian aircraft (probably Su-25, the type is being specified).
