Ukrainian air defense destroys 29 out of 38 Russian UAVs overnight
In the evening of November 17 and at night of November 18, Russian terrorists attacked Ukraine using strike drones. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 29 deadly drones
The press center of Ukraine's Air Force reported this.
It is noted that from 8 p.m. on November 17 to 4 a.m. on November 18, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with Shahed-type self-detonating UAVs from the north and southeast, in particular from the Kursk region and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
In total, 38 Shahed-136/131 attack drones were launched.
"The Shahed drones were launched in several waves, in groups, in different regions of Ukraine, in the areas of responsibility of all air commands of the Air Force.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defense Forces were involved in repelling the air attack.
As a result of the air battle, 29 of the 38 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs were destroyed.
- On the night of November 17, Russian forces once again launched 'kamikaze' drones at Ukrainian territory. Ukrainian air defense destroyed 9 out of 10 drones.
