Well-known Ukrainian businessman and politician Kostyantyn Zhevago in an exclusive interview with the Espreso TV channel said that victory of Ukraine is his top priority right now. He also explained in detail what exactly he is doing to bring Ukraine closer to it.

“We need the war to end and people to stop dying. We need to rebuild our country and develop a society where foreigners would like to live. Victory is our main goal. Me and my colleagues are doing everything to accelerate this victory. In my understanding, there is a military front and an economic front. It is very important for the economic one to keep working. It is easier to close an enterprise, while it is more difficult to keep it afloat and give people the opportunity to live in the conditions of war. That is why we work, we give people the opportunity to have a job and receive a salary, paying taxes to local budgets, where teachers' salaries, for example, come from,” he said.

Zhevago noted that apart from that, his enterprises constantly volunteer and transfer to the front special equipment, cars, quadcopters, armored ambulances, vehicles for the State Emergency Service, etc.

According to him, the assistance is provided not only to the military, but also to the frontline cities where people are trying to survive, in particular to the Kharkiv, Kryvyi Rih, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Poltava and Kyiv regions.

The donations include not only food, medicines and medical equipment, fuel, and construction materials, but also about armored ambulances, generators and protective equipment.

“Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, our companies have allocated more than UAH 1 billion for military and humanitarian aid. For example, at the request of Kharkiv city authorities, we financed the production and delivery of more than a million food packages for people who need such support the most. The total cost of production, assembly and delivery is over UAH 110 million,” the philanthropist emphasized, adding that his business has no intention to cut down any humanitarian projects.

“We help wherever we can. This is my responsibility, the responsibility of all work teams at the enterprises, shareholders, because our society needs as much assistance as our military,” Zhevago concluded.
