Ukraine's troops shoot down another Russian helicopter

This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

"This morning, Ukrainian soldiers shot down another helicopter of the Russian occupiers," the statement says.

It is noted that the type of helicopter is currently being identified.

• On August 7, Ukrainian soldiers from the 47th Brigade "landed" a Russian helicopter in Zaporizhzhia region.

• As of August 9, it is known that the Defense Forces have destroyed 312 Russian helicopters since the start of the full-scale invasion.
