Ukraine's top diplomat after Kyiv bombing: "Trump has been generous and patient with Putin"
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha calls for zero tolerance toward Putin after brutal strikes on Kyiv, urging maximum pressure on Moscow and coordinated sanctions to achieve peace
He wrote about this on the social media platform X.
Sybiha shared a photo of a destroyed section of a Kyiv residential building, reporting deaths, people trapped under rubble, and damage to schools and hospitals from the Russian night strikes.
“It is probably time to reduce to zero all of the timeframes that had been given to Putin to demonstrate a constructive approach. President Trump has been very generous and very patient with Putin, trying to find a solution,” stated the Foreign Minister.
He added that Putin’s actions are clearly deliberate.
“The entire existence of this war criminal is based on this senseless war, which he cannot win but refuses to end. He must face justice,” emphasized Andrii Sybiha.
The minister stressed the urgent need to intensify pressure on Moscow and coordinate sanctions to achieve peace.
“It's time to put maximum pressure on Moscow. It is time to synchronise all sanctions steps. It's time to achieve peace through strength,” he concluded.
