Ukraine’s Security Service detains assistant of LPR’s interior minister

This was reported by the Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) on Telegram.

“As a result of multi-stage investigative and operational actions in the Kyiv region, a former leader of militants with the call sign "Sotiy" was detained. After the events of 2014, he hid from justice, in particular in the temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine,” SBU said.

The militant finally decided to hide in the Kyiv region, where he has been detained by the Ukraine’s Security Service .

The perpetrator was a member of the leadership of the occupation administration of Luhansk and was in direct contact with the Russian special services.

It was under their "protection" that he was appointed "assistant to the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Luhansk People's Republic" and commander of the local "special rapid response unit".

While being in the "position", he coordinated criminal activities with representatives of the central divisions of the Russian special services. To do this, he regularly met with them on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea.

While performing enemy missions, in 2014 he commanded groups of militants during the seizure of the administration building of the Luhansk Security Service Department.

He also collected personal data of employees of the Security Service in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

In addition, the attacker created an extensive network of enemy informants, who reported to him the locations and movements of units of the anti-terrorist operation in the east of Ukraine.

He shared the information with Russian curators and former leaders of the militants, among them:

▪️ head of the parliament of Luhansk People's Republic Oleksiy Karyakin,

▪️ Minister of the Interior of Luhansk People's Republic Igor Kornet,

▪️ military commander of captured city of Luhansk Serhiy Hrachov with the call sign "Hrach".

The facts of the transfer of secret data to the enemy regarding the movement of convoys with military equipment of the ATO forces in the Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, and Svatovo regions were recorded.

The militant also guarded citizens of the Russian Federation, who in 2014 came to Luhansk region and Donetsk region to hold fake referendums, as a result of which "LPR" and "DPR" were declared.
