Ukraine’s NSDC Danilov comments on data leak of AFU counteroffensive
National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksii Danilov says that only a narrow circle of people in Ukraine has information about the upcoming counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Danilov made the statement in an interview with TSN.
According to him, only a narrow circle of people in the military and political leadership of Ukraine has information about the counteroffensive.
"Our side knows when certain military actions will take place at the frontline, our side makes decisions, our military, headed by the Commander-in-Chief, makes the final decision and the final version of our actions in a given situation. And when someone thinks that they know the date, know the directions, know much more than the narrow circle of people involved," Danilov said.
He adds that it is currently impossible to say when the counteroffensive will begin.
"The decision will be made when it must be made. Today, no one can say whether it will be tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, or in a week. Other dates are being mentioned. This decision will be a state decision, balanced and will be made in accordance with the laws of our state," Danilov assured.
