Ukraine’s National Guardsmen shoot down Russian Mi-24 helicopter near Bakhmut

This was reported by the National Guard of Ukraine.
The enemy helicopter inflicted fire damage on the Ukrainian positions covering the Russian infantry advancing on the AFU defense line.
"On February 7, at 2:12 p.m., in the eastern outskirts of Bakhmut, the National Guard detected two enemy Mi-24 helicopters, one target was destroyed by an anti-aircraft gunner with an Igla-1 MANPADS system," reported the head of the air defense service of the 3rd operational brigade.
Enemy helicopter fell after being hit: the fate of the pilot is yet to be discovered.
"Worth noting that this is one of the fastest attack helicopters in the world and the third Russian helicopter shot down by units of the 3rd National Guard operational brigade during the full-scale invasion," the message said.
