Ukraine's Land Forces Commander visits frontline, declares need to adjust plans for Bakhmut and Lyman sectors
Commander of the AFU Land Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi has visited the Ukrainian troops' positions in the Bakhmut and Lyman directions, where he listened to the commanders and learned about their vision of the current situation
He wrote about this on Telegram.
"Due to the difficult and opposite situation in the Bakhmut and Lyman directions, we had to adjust our plans, listen to the commanders, learn about their vision of the situation, problems and make balanced, adequate decisions," Syrskyi wrote.
He added that it is important for him to understand the needs of commanders and soldiers directly on the battlefield. He also needs to know where the most difficult situation is at the moment.
Syrskyi also met with Ukrainian defenders. He honored them with awards and valuable gifts.
"After such meetings, our mutual trust and understanding that we are moving in the right direction, to Victory, are only strengthened!" he summarized.

On July 20, the commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, said that the Defense Forces continue to advance 0.5 to 1 kilometer daily as part of a counteroffensive, despite the difficulties they face.
