Ukraine's Interior Ministry forms assault brigades to liberate temporarily seized territories
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has begun forming assault brigades to liberate territories from Russian invaders
This was announced during a telethon by acting Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.
According to him, the decision to create assault brigades was made by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, "who have enough fury to destroy the enemy." At the same time, many servicemen initiated the recruitment of people to such units.
"Therefore, it was decided that all those who are willing, who are patriots, who have lost their homes or relatives because of the war, should be united in such brigades. We have already begun to form such units, which are aimed at liberating our territories and returning to internationally recognized borders. This is our immediate goal," Klymenko said.
Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence, believes that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are able to return the Russian-occupied Crimea by the summer of this year.
