Ukraine’s Intelligence finds out when Russia is planning new wave of mobilization

Russia plans to hold another wave of mobilization in March and creates conditions for conscription of university students

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Ministry reports on Telegram.

Ukrainian military intelligence notes that Russia is actively preparing for another wave of mobilization. In particular, mass conscription of students of universities. To this end, "notification stations" are being set up at universities to help military commissariats hand out summonses to students.

Thus, the heads of several institutions in Novosibirsk and Tomsk received documents obliging them to allocate a certain number of students and staff to work at such stations. They plan to involve people who are not subject to mobilization.

"It is important that the next wave of mobilization in the Russian Federation does not require additional legal grounds, as the "partial mobilization" announced in September 2022 has not been officially completed. The mobilization is likely to take place before April 1, the start of the spring conscription. If necessary, the start of the call-up may be postponed," the Intelligence Directorate summarized.
