Worth over $5 million: Ukraine's intelligence hits Russia's latest radar Podlet

Ukrainian servicemen attacked one of the newest radar stations of Russian occupation army Podlet, which costs more than 5 million dollars

This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence.

Ukraine's intelligence group Husy-9 together with the servicemen of the 15th separate artillery reconnaissance brigade Black Forest discovered and attacked the Russian radar 48YA6 K-1 Podlet.

In particular, the antenna-feeder installation and the diesel station that powered the complex were successfully attacked.

According to the intelligence, the Podlet radar is a relatively new Russian development — it began to be supplied to the Russian army in 2015. At the same time, the cost of such a radar is more than 700 million rubles or more than $5 million.

Russia used this system to detect and transmit the coordinates of targets to Russian S-300/S-400 air defense missile systems.
