The General Staff stated in a Telegram post, "The Russian Ministry of Defense's claims that Ukraine violated ceasefire conditions regarding energy facilities are untrue."
Ukrainian military officials highlighted that the Ukrainian Defense Forces did not conduct drone strikes on energy facilities in Russia's Kursk and Bryansk regions or in temporarily occupied Crimea on March 25-26.
"The aggressor country's military department is spreading false and baseless accusations to prolong the war, continue deceptive propaganda, and engage in typical Russian attempts to deceive the world," the General Staff emphasized.
- On Tuesday, March 25, a new round of negotiations took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, between Ukrainian and American delegations. Kyiv, Washington, and Moscow agreed to ensure safe shipping in the Black Sea.
- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that a ceasefire regarding energy infrastructure could be implemented starting March 25, and this issue was agreed upon with the United States.
- He also believes that there will be a short window of opportunity between the start of the ceasefire and reaching an agreement to end the war with Russia, as the Kremlin continuously violates agreements.
