Ukraine’s defense forces advance near Novoprokopivka and Bakhmut - ISW
Ukrainian defenders continue their offensive and have advanced in the area of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, and Novoprokopivka, Zaporizhzhia region

It is noted that Ukrainian forces continued ground attacks towards the rail line between Klishchiivka (7km southwest of Bakhmut) and Andriivka (10km southwest of Bakhmut) over the past day. According to analysts, citing the General Staff, the Ukrainian Armed Forces achieved partial success near these settlements.
"Geolocated footage published on October 4 indicates that Ukrainian forces marginally advanced east of Novoprokopivka (5km southeast of Robotyne) in western Zaporizhia Oblast, and the Ukrainian General Staff also reported that Ukrainian forces achieved partial success west of Robotyne," the report said.
According to analysts, some Russian sources claimed that Ukrainian forces advanced up to a Russian trench line on the Robotyne-Kopani line (5km northwest of Robotyne).

Over the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled 8 Russian attacks in the vicinity of Marinka, and another 6 near Krasnohorivka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region.
