Ukrainian army repels 14 Russian attacks in Donetsk region per day – General Staff

This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff.

Ukrainian aviation carried out 13 strikes on enemy concentration areas during the day

In turn, missile troops hit a command post, 3 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, 10 artillery pieces and an enemy ammunition depot.

Over the last day, 45 combat engagements took place in the main frontline areas

In total, the enemy launched 5 missile and 43 air strikes during the day, and fired 30 times from MLRS at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the operational situation has not changed significantly. No signs of formation of offensive groups were detected.

However, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, continues shelling settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine.

At the same time, the Russian army continued shelling the entire borderline with mortars and artillery: over 25 settlements across the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions were attacked. 

Russian attacks in frontline regions of Ukraine 

In the Kupyansk sector, Russian enemy launched air strikes on 15 settlements in the Kharkiv region. 

In the Lyman sector, Russian enemy launched air strikes near 15 settlements. 

In the Bakhmut sector, Russian enemy targeted 20 localities. 

In the Avdiivka sector, more than 10 localities came under Russian artillery and mortar fire

In the Marinka sector, over the last day, the Ukrainian forces successfully repelled 8 enemy attacks near Marinka, Donetsk region, and 6 attacks near Krasnohorivka and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region. The enemy launched air strikes near Marinka and Novomykhailivka. Russian forces fired at 10 settlements. 

In the Shakhtarsk sector, Russia carried out air strikes in the areas of 3 settlements in the Donetsk region. 10 settlements in the Donetsk region came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Zaporizhzhia sector, Russia targeted more than 25 settlements with artillery and mortars. 

In the Kherson sector, Russia targeted 10 localities, including the city of Kherson. 

At the same time, Ukraine's defense forces continue an offensive operation in the Melitopol sector and offensive (assault) operations in the Bakhmut sector, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, and depleting the enemy along the entire front line.

• The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine stated that an amphibious operation was carried out in the territory of Crimea temporarily occupied by Russia, striking at enemy forces. After completing the task, the special forces successfully retreated.
