Ukraine's Defence Ministry reviews risk of Belarus attacking Ukraine

Malyar stated this in an interview with Channel 24.

According to her, despite the statement of the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, that an attack by Belarus is now unlikely, the Ministry of Defense is considering all scenarios.

"We are considering all possible scenarios, including the threat from Belarus. Regarding our information part, I can say that now we are observing in the information field of Belarus a negative attitude towards Ukraine. This may be a marker that they are at least in a state of readiness, as one of the scenarios. We cannot 100% predict something, because it is incorrect. However, the fact that training there is usually a cover for readiness, the fact that they carry out certain informational operations there, as they regularly did in Russia - there are such signs," - Malyar said. 

At the same time, she added that the enemy can incite all these signs in order to work with us through information, so that we take it seriously. 

"Therefore, any of the scenarios can happen, and its assessment is already given by experts, namely intelligence, which makes its conclusions about the probability. Such information comes with the vulture completely secretly, and no one will voice it, if there is no military expediency for this. That is, if  regarding the military operation, on the contrary, we have a task to say it - then it will be announced. It is necessary to understand these things," - Malyar said.
