This was discussed at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Espreso TV reports.

The day before, the Competition Commission for the selection of the NABU director selected 3 candidates for this position, namely Semen Kryvonos, Serhiy Hupiak and Roman Osipchuk.

According to Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Ukraine has now fulfilled all 7 EU recommendations that were identified when the country was granted candidate status.

"This demonstrates our determination to start accession negotiations this year," he said.
