The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this on March 23.

“Occupying Russian forces are still temporarily located in Nova Kakhovka. The information about the enemy's alleged withdrawal from this settlement was made public as a result of incorrect use of available data. However, we will certainly liberate Nova Kakhovka as well,” the report says.

Earlier, in the evening report on March 23, the General Staff reported that as of March 22, 2023, all units of the occupying army that were stationed in the town of Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region, had left the city.

It was noted that this was preceded by raids on the nearest houses of the local population for profit. The invading forces 'confiscated' large quantities of household and electronic appliances, jewelry, clothing items and mobile phones from the civilians.
