Ukraine's army actively works to launch offensive in Vuhledar sector

This was stated by Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman Oleksandr Voitko on Espreso TV.

"There is a prospect, we need to attack to win the war because we need to liberate our territory. We will see how long it will take. Active preparations for this are ongoing, our artillery is practicing the positions of the invaders," he said.

Voitko added that to understand the state of the front in the Vuhledar sector, we need to look back a bit.

"In the winter and spring, the Russian invaders amassed huge forces. Not only to take Vuhledar, but also to advance far from the south to the north of Donetsk region. All these forces were defeated. Now, our units have already had partial success in Mykilski Dachi, where the Russians were driven out of their positions. A lot of work has been done since the winter and it continues. Volnovakha, an important logistics hub, is not far away. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively working to move to offensive actions in this area as well," the military summarized.
