Ukraine's Armed Forces repel Russia's advance in Avdiivka, Pisky directions, stop assaults near Bakhmut, Zaitseve, Vershyna, Kodema - General Staff

This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. 

In the Kharkiv direction, the Russian invaders used tanks, barrel and rocket artillery to deter the Ukrainian Armed Forces from advancing deep into the temporarily Russia-occupied territory. The Russian army shelled Uda, Zolochiv, Slatyne, Nowe, Borshcheve, Ruski Tushky, Tsirkuny, Peremoha, Slobozhanske, Chervone, Husarivka, and Asiivka.

"The occupiers launched airstrikes near Husarivka, Verkhniy Saltiv, and Bayrak. They engaged drones for reconnaissance near Tsupivka and Rusky Tyshki as well", the General Staff wrote. 

In the Slovyansk direction, the enemy fired artillery at Velyka Komyshuvakha, Dmytrivka, Virnopillya, Rydne, Dibrivne, Hrushuvakhi, Bohorodychne, Nortsivka, Krasnopillya, and Mykilske. The Russians launched an airstrike near Zalyman.

The General Staff reported that the occupiers unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical position near Bohorodychne. 

In the Donetsk direction, the Russians are trying to inflict maximum losses on Ukrainian units and prevent Ukrainian forces from being diverted to other directions.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russians shelled the districts of Kramatorsk, Siversk, Hryhorivka, and Starodubivka from tanks, barrel and rocket artillery. Airstrikes were launched near Hryhorivka and Ivano-Darivka.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Ukrainian military stopped enemy assaults near Bakhmut, Zaitseve, Vershyna, and Kodema. Invading Russian forces fired at Ukrainian troops near Yakovlivka, Krasnopolivka, Pokrovske, and Vershyna.

In the Avdiivka direction, artillery and tank shelling was recorded near Avdiivka, Opytne, Novobakhmutivka, Karlivka, and Kurakhovo. Russian aircraft operated near New York, Krasnohorivka, and Marinka.

According to the information of the General Staff, the attempted offensive of the Russian occupiers in the directions of Avdiivka and Pisky was repulsed by Ukrainian troops. The enemy left.

In the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia directions, Russian troops mobilized tanks, barrel and rocket artillery for shelling of civil infrastructure objects in the districts of Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Shevchenkove, Vremivka, Hulyaipole, Malynivka, and Novopillya.

"The enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops in the directions of Marinka and Shevchenkove, but was unsuccessful and withdrew. The Russians conducted aerial reconnaissance of the Zaporizhzhia and Pavlohrad areas. They launched airstrikes near Prechystivka, Volodymyrivka, and Poltavka", the General Staff wrote. 

In the Southern Bug direction, the Russian occupiers shelled Mykolaiv, Tavriyske, Oleksandrivka, Kotlyareve, Novomykolaivka, Novogredneve, Kiselivka, Kobzartsi, Kvitneve, Zelenyi Hai, Andriivka, Ivanivka, Novooleksandrivka, and Potomkyne from tanks and artillery of various types.

"They launched airstrikes near Lozove, Andriivka, and Tavriyske. Considerable attention is focused on aerial reconnaissance by unmanned aerial vehicles", it is noted. 

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, there are no significant changes. 

In the Siversk direction, the Russian invaders launched artillery fire in the areas of Hremyach and Senkivka of the Chernihiv region and Sukhodol, Manukhivka, Nowa Virka, and Pavlivka of the Sumy region. 

According to the Ukrainian General Staff, the Russians conducted aerial reconnaissance of the border areas with the help of drones.
