Ukraine's Armed Forces repel Russian offensive in Bakmut direction: aviation launches 27 strikes, artillery hits 3 control points
Invading Russian forces try to advance in the Bakhmut direction, but the Ukrainian defenders have repelled their attack
The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this.
"The Russian forces are trying to hold the temporarily seized territories and are concentrating their efforts on attempts to disrupt the active actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in certain directions. At the same time, they are trying to conduct offensive actions in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions. Over the past day, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Novosadove, Bakhmutske, Ivanhrad, Bakhmut, Soledar, Spirne, Maiorsk, and Krasnohorivka settlements," the Ukrainian military wrote.
Ukrainian aviation launched 27 strikes against the invading Russian forces. More than 20 areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, as well as 6 anti-aircraft missile systems of the Russian forces, were affected.
Air defense units shot down 10 drones and 4 enemy helicopters. Missile troops and artillery hit 3 control points, 10 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, and 4 ammunition depots.
"Air defense and electronic defense positions and other military targets also fell into the fire damage zone," Ukraine's Armed Forces added.
