Ukraine’s Armed Forces liquidate 10 Iranian instructors who helped to launch Iranian-made ‘kamikaze’ drones
10 Iranians who were training Russian soldiers were killed in the past week in Ukraine
This was reported anonymously by a Ukrainian official, according to The Jerusalem Post.
The news website says 10 Iranians who were training Russian soldiers were killed in Ukrainian strikes in the past week, according to a Ukrainian official who spoke to KAN news on Friday.
This information has not been officially confirmed by Ukraine’s military leadership.
On October 12 the Ukrainian National Resistance Center reported that Iranian instructors were overseeing Russian forces launching ‘kamikaze’ drones from within annexed Ukrainian territory.
"The Russians took Iranian instructors to the territory of the temporarily occupied Kherson Region and Crimea to launch Shahed-136 kamikaze drones," the center alleged. "They teach the Russians how to use ‘kamikaze’ drones, and directly monitor the launch of drones on Ukrainian civilian targets, including strikes on Mykolaiv and Odesa."
On October 21, John Kirby, the US National Security Council spokesman, said the United States also has evidence of Iranian military deployment in the illegally annexed Crimea to support deadly drone attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure and civilians.
