Ukraine's Armed Forces liberate Pytomnyk village, Kharkiv region. Russians remain without rotation until end of war - Ukrainian General Staff

The General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces shared the news.

Russia doesn't stop conducting offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone. Their greatest activity is further observed in Slobozhansky and Donetsk directions.

In the Volhynia and Polissya directions (northwest Ukraine - Ed.), Russians didn't take active action. Measures of engineering equipment of defense positions along the state border in Brest and Gomel oblasts are underway. Meetings involving conscripts are being held in Brest and Grodno oblasts.

The threat of missile and air strikes from the territory of Belarus on Ukrainian objects remains.

In the northern direction, Russia continues to provide enhanced protection of the Ukrainian-Russian border in the Bryansk and Kursk regions. To prevent the regrouping of Ukrainian troops and their transfer to other areas, units of Russia's Armed Forces continue to conduct demonstrations. In the regions bordering Ukraine, Russia is increasing the air defense system.

Russians didn't carry out offensive operations in the Kharkiv direction. Russian forces moved to defense to slow down the pace of the Ukrainian offensive. In the course of successful actions, Ukraine liberated Pytomnyk settlement in the Kharkiv region.

In the Slovyansk direction, the main Russian efforts were focused on creating conditions for the resumption of the offensive. Russian units continued to replenish supplies of material and technical means to increase offensive capabilities.

In the temporarily occupied territories of the Kharkiv region, to prevent the transfer of information about the movement of Russian troops, Russians are suppressing the cellular network. Residents in many settlements remain without electricity and water. Russians forbid them to enter the territory controlled by Ukraine.

In the Donetsk direction, the main Russian efforts are focused on gaining full control over Rubizhne and conducting an offensive in the direction of Lyman village. Russia is trying to hold positions on the right bank of the Siversky Donets river. They continued preparations for the offensive in the areas of Kurakhove and Novopavlivka.

Russia continues to fire on Ukrainian troops' positions. Increased the intensity of air reconnaissance with the use of UAVs.

In the Bakhmut direction, to prepare for the offensive, Russians continue artillery shelling of Ukrainian positions in the Svitlodarsk and Troitskoye settlements. Russia carried out assault operations in the Orikhove and Toshkivka directions, but it was unsuccessful.

In Mariupol, the main Russian efforts are focused on blocking and trying to destroy our units in the area of ​​the Azovstal plant.  The enemy continued to launch artillery and air strikes.

In the Kryvyi Rih and Mykolayiv areas, Russians didn't conduct active hostilities, firing at Ukrainian units with artillery and mortars, conducting engineering equipment of advanced positions.

In the Black Sea and Azov sea zones, Russian naval groups perform the task of isolating combat areas and conducting reconnaissance. Russians are launching missile strikes on important infrastructure in Ukraine, providing support to ground forces in the coastal area and blocking civilian shipping.

Russia continues to suffer losses. They are disorganized and demoralized. Servicemen of certain Russian units performing tasks in Ukraine were informed about the impossibility of rotating until the end of the so-called special operation.
