Ukraine's Armed Forces liberate 40 Donetsk region settlements
Ukrainian defenders have liberated 40 settlements in the Lyman and Sviatohirsk territorial communities, Donetsk region
This is reported by Ukraine's Ministry of Reintegration.
The Ministry said that life is gradually returning to 40 de-occupied settlements in the Donetsk region.
"Destroyed houses are currently being inspected and their owners are being searched for. It should be noted that more than 260 such buildings have been found in Sviatohirsk alone. Electricity is being restored in the villages of Khrestishche and Mayaki. In the city of Sviatohirsk, work is underway to restore mobile communications. Social payments to the population are being calculated. The payment of pensions has been resumed to people in the liberated cities of Lyman and Sviatohirsk, as well as in the urban-type village of Yarova in the Donetsk region. Since the de-occupation, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has already issued more than UAH 8 million through Ukrposhta," the message reads.
Humanitarian aid began to be actively received by the locals. In particular, from local authorities, UNICEF, and Ukraine's Red Cross Society.
Residents of the de-occupied territories can receive food, hygiene items, and devices for heating the premises. A one-time benefit is being paid from Ukraine's Red Cross Society.
