Ukraine's Armed Forces hit 40 wagons carrying Russian soldiers, equipment, ammunition using HIMARS in Kherson
Ukraine's Armed Forces have destroyed railway cars comprising more than 40 wagons that arrived from Crimea carrying Russian manpower, equipment, and ammunition, at Brylivka railway station, Kherson region, using HIMARS systems
Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Anton Herashchenko, announced this on Facebook.
"On the night from Friday to Saturday, a high-precision HIMARS strike destroyed a railway echelon of more than 40 wagons that arrived from Crimea with Russian personnel, equipment, as well as ammunition to the Brylivka railway station, Kherson region. As a result, the personnel turned into embers, the equipment - on piles of scrap metal, and the ammunition flew into the air", Herashchenko wrote.
Also, the adviser of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported that about 80 Russian occupiers were killed, and 200 were wounded.
"The loss of manpower amounted to about 80 killed and 200 wounded. All drivers and engineers of the Russian Railways company, which carried out the transportation of military cargo from Crimea to the Kherson region, died", he added.
Herashchenko also said that this is not the first case of the death of Russian railway drivers on the territory of Ukraine.
"This is not the first case of the death of drivers of the Russian railway in Ukraine. And it will not be the last. If your relatives work as drivers in the Ukrainian Crimea or in the regions of Russia from which echelons with ammunition are delivered to the territory of Ukraine, know that they are potential suicide bombers!" it is noted.
