Ukraine’s Armed Forces fighters neutralize Russian Major General Kutuzov in Donbas
Roman Kutuzov (nickname Tuman/Fog), a Major General with the Russian Armed Forces, has been killed by Ukrainian servicemen in eastern Ukraine
This was announced on Sunday evening, June 5, 2022, by the InformNapalm OSINT military project.
"On June 5, another Russian, Major General Roman Kutuzov was eliminated," the statement said.
To back up their claim, they cite a photo allegedly showing Major General Kutuzov’s body.
Anatoliy “Stirlitz” Stefan, an officer serving with Ukraine’s Armed Forces, also claims that Kutuzov has been killed.
"Kutuzov has been officially denazified and demilitarized," the Ukrainian officer said.
According to Stefan, Kutuzov commanded the 1st Donetsk Republic Army Corps, and before deploying to the Donetsk Republic territorial group held the post of a Staff Chief of the 29th General Army of Russia's Armed Forces’ Eastern Military District."
Today's killing of Kutuzov by Ukrainian Forces was also reported by information sources in the temporarily occupied territories and by propaganda channels in Moscow.
Kutuzov’s death was confirmed by a correspondent for Russia’s federal broadcaster Russian All-State Television and Radio Company Alexander Sladkov.
Sladkov said that he had known Kutuzov personally for a long time.
"A general led the attack again. Almost if there weren’t enough colonels (majors, captains, sergeants...)," the propagandist said.
Temporarily occupied territories’ Telegram channels call Kutuzov's death the Battle for the Bakhmut-Lysychansk highway.
According to these unverified sources, this is a reference to a battle in the Nikolaevka settlement of the Popasnyansk area of the Luhansk region which is in a Lysychansk - Popasna - Bakhmut triangle.
