Ukraine's Armed Forces destroy over 18 enemy warehouses with ammunition: we will see a lull on the front line - Smirnov
Adviser to Ukraine's Minister of Internal Affairs Rostyslav Smirnov notes that the intensity of enemy shelling on the frontline will significantly decrease
He expressed this opinion on Espreso TV live on air.
"There will be a certain lull on the front lines. In the last two weeks, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed more than 18 warehouses with ammunition. The enemy is using the supplies it had on the front lines. The intensity of shelling on the front lines will be significantly reduced. At the base that we blew up in Snizhne, there was equipment, helicopters, as well as command points. The enemy will not be able to quickly replenish its reserves," - Smirnov noted.
The adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs also added that the Ukrainian military knew where the enemy's command posts and ammunition depots were located.
"We didn't have equipment and weapons that could hit targets. These are the first sprouts that we are getting long-range weapons that help us inflict losses on the enemy. This is a key issue in terms of preparing for a counteroffensive and for our victory. We need more weapons and even more ammunition for these weapons," - Smirnov emphasized.
