Ukraine’s air defense forces down 18 of 38 missiles and drones launched by Russia
On the night of July 20, Russian forces launched 19 cruise missiles and 19 kamikaze drones at Odesa and Mykolaiv. Ukrainian air defense destroyed 18 targets
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In total, Russia launched 38 missiles and drones:

7 P-800 Oniks cruise missiles from the Bastion coastal missile system in Crimea;

4 Kh-22 air-launched cruise missiles - launched from eight Tu-22MZ aircraft from the Black Sea;

3 Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles, allegedly from a submarine, also in the Black Sea;
-
5 Iskander-K land-launched cruise missiles from the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula;
-
19 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs from two directions: southern - Chauda, Crimea, and northeastern - Kursk.
It is reported that as a result of the work of Ukrainian defenders, 18 air targets were eliminated. In particular, 2 Kalibr cruise missiles, 3 ‘Iskander’ missiles and 13 ‘Shaheds’.
"Over the current and previous days, the Air Force aviation has carried out more than 20 air strikes on objects, places of concentration of equipment and personnel of the Russian occupiers," the military emphasized.

As a reminder, as a result of the Russian attack on July 20 on a number of southern regions, an administrative building was destroyed in Odesa, 4 people were injured, and a fire broke out in a residential building in Mykolaiv, killing at least 18 people.
