Ukraine’s Air Defense Forces destroy 14 Russian missiles, 23 drones overnight
On the night of July 19, invading Russian forces launched 30 cruise missiles, one guided missile and 32 UAVs against Ukraine. The Air Defense Forces destroyed 37 enemy targets
This was reported on July 19 by the Ukrainian Air Force.
It is noted that the invading Russian forces attacked Ukraine from the south, using air-, land-, and sea-based cruise missiles, as well as Iranian attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type.
The Odesa region became the main focus of the enemy's attacks, which targeted critical and military infrastructure.
The enemy launched several waves of attacks using:

16 sea-launched Kalibr cruise missiles, presumably from the small missile ship Ingushetia and the frigate Admiral Essen from the Black Sea;

8 Kh-22 cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 long-range aircraft from the Black Sea;
-
6 Oniks cruise missiles from the Bastion coastal missile system (Crimea);
-
1 Kh-59 guided missile from a Su-35 fighter jet from the Black Sea;
-
32 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs from the Chauda training ground (Crimea) and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Rostov region).
As a result of combat operations, the Air Force destroyed 37 air targets:

23 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs.
The press service of the Air Force noted that the Kh-22 and Oniks missiles were aimed at the infrastructure of the Odesa region.

On the night of July 19, the Russian forces launched another night attack on Ukraine. An infrastructure facility was damaged in the Zhytomyr region, and a house of culture was on fire in Kherson.
