Ukraine will fight for independence and will liberate its territory in any weather - security expert Ivan Varchenko

Security expert Ivan Varchenko told this to the Espreso TV Channel.

"Ukraine will fight for independence and liberate its territory regardless of the weather. Regardless of whether it will rain or not and what the temperature will be outside. In autumn, winter, and spring, we demonstrated that we effectively defended our land and destroyed the enemy in the worst weather conditions. Is the weather today a condition to, for example, hinder the liberation war of Ukrainians? No, today, it is only one of the factors that can only restrain. And this deterrence is not absolute," he said.

Ivan Varchenko noted that the advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces might not be so intensive due to bad weather conditions, but this does not stop Ukrainian soldiers from striving to liberate their native land from the Russian forces.

"We understand that the advance may slow down, but it will not stop precisely because the Ukrainians have both the strength and the zeal to beat the enemy. And in the end, we will be ready to stop the war and even stop only when we drive out the last enemy and eliminate the Russian empire as a threat to Ukrainian independence," he added.
