The NATO Secretary General shares his thoughts on the sidelines of a meeting of the Ukrainian support group at the American Ramstein base in Germany.
"The war in Ukraine is approaching a turning point when we see that the Russian offensive in Donbas has stopped. We see that the Ukrainians were able to fight back, strike back and win back part of the territory," Stoltenberg said.
In addition, he noted that Ukraine will have difficulties with the harsh winter in the coming months.
Therefore, according to the Secretary General of the Alliance, "we need to at least prepare for this winter, because there are no signs that Russia is abandoning its goal of taking control of Ukraine."
