Ukraine urgently needs to build up stocks of “kamikaze” drones - public figure Tuka
Heorhiy Tuka, the former Deputy Minister for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine and public figure, says Ukrainian defenders need more “kamikaze drones” in the northern part of the Luhansk region
He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces have been achieving notable progress, but at the same time, we should not turn a blind eye to the fact that there are many problems that need to be addressed by both the top leadership of the state and our allies. For example, last night I received a request from a well-known unit operating in Donetsk and Luhansk regions for help in purchasing “kamikaze drones.” We have all seen the fascinating videos of “kamikaze” drones attacking enemy trenches, dugouts, armored and automotive vehicles, guns, and mortar crews. But it turns out that it is extremely, I emphasize, extremely necessary to rapidly increase the stockpile of “kamikaze” drones. By the way, such drones are quite inexpensive, about USD 400 to 500, and their efficiency, in my opinion, is underestimated at least at the level of the Ministry of Defense," the public figure said.
Heorhiy Tuka noted that it is no secret that Russian troops are attempting to escalate their activities in the northern part of the Luhansk region. As a result, Ukrainian forces must enhance their arsenal of these highly effective strike capabilities.
