In Luhansk region, Russia resumes ground assaults similar to those in Bakhmut
Roman Vlasenko, head of the Sievierodonetsk district military administration, noted that Russian forces are intensifying their actions in the Luhansk region
He stated this on Espreso.
“In the Luhansk region, the occupying forces are getting stronger, but they haven't made any progress. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are defending themselves well and pushing back effectively. The invaders are becoming more active all along the contact line. The fighting is ongoing in the Svatove and Lyman directions. The most intense battles are taking place near Bilohorivka and Kreminna, towards Lyman,” Vlasenko commented.
He also mentioned that in the Luhansk region, the enemy has started launching ground attacks similar to what happened in Bakhmut.
“They are not concerned about their own losses. These attacks are supported by mechanized troops and aircraft. The enemy relies on new private military companies and volunteer units, but they are facing logistics and ammunition storage problems,” Vlasenko emphasized.

Earlier, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Hanna Maliar, stated that the enemy has mobilized all its forces to halt the offensive of the Defense Forces. However, the Ukrainian military is carrying out their tasks effectively.
