Ukraine unleashes 400 drones in one attack, wipes out 40+ Russian equipment units – Zelenskyy
Recently, Ukrainian forces carried out a coordinated battlefield strike using 400 small drones, destroying over 40 pieces of Russian military equipment
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared the details during a meeting with journalists.
“We recently launched a unique strike — 400 small drones deployed simultaneously. Over 40 units of Russian equipment were destroyed at once. It was a purely military operation, executed entirely on the battlefield. It was a trial run, and we succeeded. We will show them much more than this — we have already succeeded,” Zelenskyy said.
He noted that Russia is heavily focused on large-scale drone production, while Ukraine is advancing in drone warfare — including using drones to shoot down aircraft.
“We know how many Mirages or F-16s can take down in one sortie, and how many we can deploy at the same time. We're also making progress with drone-on-drone interceptors — we’re already using them,” the president added.
According to him, Ukraine has already developed interceptor drone technology.
“The problem was with the Shahed drones they launched at altitudes too high for mobile fire teams to reach. We found the solution in interceptor drones,” the president explained.
- Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine is a global leader in drone production.
